I met the most beautiful man in the world
yet he was the saddest man I ever saw
Stained with his father's sins
Cursed by his mother's guilt
I loved the most beautiful man in the world
Riddled with shame from a childhood he could not have been able to control
Marked by demons he couldn't put to rest
I kissed the most beautiful man in the world
with dark eyes filled with rivers of pain
He Searches for a meaning he could not explain
I know the most beautiful man in the world
He wears a withered rose on his heart
combing the earth for a maiden to rescue his soul
String by string
Till you are free again
Free to hum a melody today
Lie on rows of pink rose petals
Find a spider's web beneath your bed
Till you realize it's of your making and no one else's
Let not the wizard hear or else
Hide a jar of sweet jasmines
Scents fit only for the princess you are
Pop corn flies across the room
As indigo lights pour out of the sky
Whistles, soft whistles, the kettle boils over
Tea, butter biscuits and fresh marshmallows
Listen to 'Mandy' by Barry Manilow
When you choose to be at peace
Catch the star within your heart
Make a place, a space for rest and love yourself
more than you love your breast
It will be, It will be
Like breaking all the spells

I'm going to live forever
in the brightest spot of your heart
I'll find the place you've kept for me
I'll lay my head and go to rest
Merge with your heartbeat
bleed to keep it strong
And when all of me is finally at peace
I'll be content knowing
I died for love in your heart
If today were my last day on earth
and all my bags were packed and ready to go,
If the angels came forth bearing gifts of every kind
and I stood in awe still blind and poor,
If I were standing before God at last
and of all his abundance, he asked me to choose
I would look into his eyes and tell he still knows
That all I want is you.
Lay me down beside my husband
Plant a pear tree above each grave
Let their roots reach out and cling to each other
Like we did alive, for strength and love
When in bloom, singing bees will visit
We shall bear fruits in death as we did in life
We’ll live anew, till every leaf falls down
And then, return to the very start
Back to dust, back to the beginning
To live once again for evermore
